Loans
Loans are available to members aged 18 and over. Simply speak to a member of staff and they will issue you with a loans form to complete. If you need help filling this form in then staff will be willing to help.
Once a loan form is completed, our dedicated loans committee assess your application. Requests for loan amounts less than your share balance are usually approved immediately.
We can lend up to £25000 depending on individual circumstances.
A loan from the credit union differs from a bank loan because the interest is calculated on the reducing balance of the loan itself, not on the loan amount that you had borrowed originally. This means that your interest payments reduce as the loan is repaid.
